Paris Hilton Launches Fund for LA Fire Victims

Paris Hilton Launches Fund: aris Hilton, who recently lost her Malibu home to the devastating Los Angeles fires, is stepping up to help others in need. On Friday, the Infinite Icon singer announced a $100,000 pledge to the Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) and committed to matching up to $100,000 in additional donations. Hilton, through her 11:11 Media Impact non-profit, expressed her heartbreak over the disaster, which has displaced over 130,000 people and destroyed more than 10,000 structures.

“This house wasn’t just a place to live—it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created beautiful memories,” Hilton wrote on Instagram, reflecting on her loss. “It’s devastating beyond words, but my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more.”

Providing Relief to Families with Children

Hilton’s fund focuses on aiding displaced families, especially those with young children. Partnering with CORE, the organization founded by Ann Lee and Sean Penn, the initiative will provide cash assistance, short-term housing, essentials at evacuation centers, and support for local animal shelters. Families in need are encouraged to email impact@1111media.co for assistance.

“I’m proud to partner with LA-based organization CORE to uplift those in need during this difficult time,” Hilton said in a press release. The charity aims to distribute resources directly to those with the greatest needs.

Hilton’s efforts have already inspired additional contributions. Amy Marks Dornbusch, a collaborator, helped raise another $100,000 from female funders, boosting the fund’s starting total to $200,000. “Let’s come together for LA,” Hilton urged. “Every dollar makes a difference, and we’ll make sure the support reaches those who need it most.”

Hilton’s message resonated deeply on social media, with fans and followers praising her dedication to rebuilding the community. “While I’ve lost my home, my focus is on helping families regain stability and hope during this unimaginable time,” she shared.

A Community Reeling from Loss

The fires, which have devastated areas such as Malibu, Pacific Palisades, and Altadena, have claimed at least 10 lives and displaced numerous residents. Other celebrities, including Mandy Moore, Billy Crystal, Jhené Aiko, and James Woods, have also lost their homes in the blazes.

Hilton’s initiative serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of community support in times of crisis. Her commitment to helping rebuild lives, especially for families with children, underscores the collective need for compassion and action as Los Angeles faces one of its worst wildfire disasters.
